  WALKING
Progress!
The Walking Group has started organising walks on a limited basis.  Anyone not already on the list of walkers and intending to join a walk should first contact Rhiannon Williams 01873 830785 rhiannonwilliams2011@gmail.com or Glyn Davies 01293 830980  glyndavies48@hotmail.com

The walk on 20 September 2020 is described in Newsletter No 11.

All members carrying out group activities are asked to ensure that they have read and taken note of the "Personal Members' Check List" from the U3A Headquarters before participating in group activities.

The Tuesday short walks
will now be 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, starting at the car park at 10am and finishing at The Towpath. These are very informal walks with the participants choosing their destination on the day.

The Thursday walk starting at 10am will be a longer walk, probably involving some ascents and descents and maybe stiles.  We may car share to destinations.  Details of the monthly long walk will be circulated in advance to those on the group list.

Walkers should come appropriately prepared for walking, with suitable footwear, waterproofs, etc, as the weather can change quite quickly on the hills. They are also expected to take reasonable care for their own safety when walking with the group.

Contact Rhiannon Williams by telephone on 01873 830785 or on email for further information: rhiannonwilliams2011@gmail,com
