It is with great sadness that we report the recent passing of Hilary Lipscombe the founder of Gilwern u3a some 8 years ago. Hilary chaired our u3a group for the first 3 years, then held other roles on the committee and was Group Coordinator and Leader of the Bridge Group most recently. At present we have 114 Members and 11 active groups all thanks to Hilary's original hard work and initiative.
We extend our deepest sympathy to her husband Graham and family.
