Short walks will now be 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, starting at the car park at 10am. These are very informal walks with the participants choosing their destination on the day.
Longer walks will probably involve some ascents and descents and maybe stiles. We may car share to destinations. Details of the monthly long walk will be circulated in advance to those on the group list.
Walkers should come appropriately prepared for walking, with suitable footwear, waterproofs, etc, as the weather can change quite quickly on the hills. They are also expected to take reasonable care for their own safety when walking with the group.
