Activities
Gilwern U3A Garden Group visit gardens both in the local area and as far away as south Herefordshire.
We have been to some fascinating gardens over the years; Sir Roy Strong's garden, Laskett's, near Ross on Wye is one that stands out as a garden that was lovingly restored.
Many of the owners are members of the National Garden Scheme.
The trip usually includes tea and cakes. We use our own cars, sharing when possible and trips are arranged for the fourth Wednesday of the month when possible but this may vary.
